So in the past 2 hours I’ve been browsing the official Aion forums and analyzed the QQing ratio. I’ve done it separately on both, NA and EU. Since the EU servers support 3 languages, I’ve also analyzed the German forum. Unfortunately I don’t understand French (nor want to learn this ugly language), so I couldn’t do it there.
All measurements were done in the General Discussion forum. 100 most recent threads were checked for each language/region. The result is pretty shocking, but I think it was very obvious. The Aion community is mixed from all kind of players from different games. No offence, but I think the former WoW players contributed a lot to the results.
Let’s start with the Europeans
- [English community] 39% QQ’ing threads.
- [German community] Here it is a little bit more with 44%, but it was obvious, wasn’t it?
- 41,5% in average
North America
- NA is leading with 45%.
So in total:
- 128 threads out of 300 are QQ threads. That’s 42,7~%.
This all may also be not that accurate, but …
my purpose with this post was just to show you what poor community Aion currently has. Almost 1/2 of the threads on the official forums are made by some stubborn heads that QQ about all possible bullshit. Also I’ve see only like 3 out of 300 threads that complemented Aion.
What’s wrong the the MMORPG players nowadays?

QQ?

Maybe it is because Aion is not a good game? Maybe it’s because the customer service doesn’t exist? Maybe it’s the servers being flooded with bots?
Why are you blaming the players?

Maybe because it is a good game
Maybe because they took care of the bot problem quite well and continue to get better
Maybe because most people who have had to get customer service, rather than QQing in the forums have gotten excellent customer service on par with blizzard not better or worse.
That’s why I Blame the players because most of the things they complain about are just as rampant in other mmos including WoW, or are simply a matter of preference.
