One week has passed since I posted my first weekly aion theory injection. Here’s your next fix.

#1 [Assassin] Killer’s Eye and Devotion buffs do NOT stack

• If you use both of these skills at the same time, they won’t stack. So while both are active and you use a skill, you will only get the damage bonus of 50% from the Killer’s Eye buff. The +40% from Devotion will be ignored. So the right order would be to use Killer’s Eye followed by a damage skill and then activate Devotion.

#2 Save your materials for now

• Aion has been out for less than one month. Everyone is still leveling and not that many are crafting => less demand for crafting materials = lower prices. I recommend you to save your materials in your warehouse and sell them once the prices grow higher.

#3 Resting is your friend

• I think many Aion players underestimate resting in Aion. Use it! Resting recovers your HP/MP  within seconds without wasting a single Kinah. To rest, press “,“.

#4 Have some fun instead of leveling

• If you feel tired or bored of leveling, do something else. Games are meant to be fun to play. Jump off a cliff, fly, glide, or do whatever comes into your sick heads.

#5 Stop clicking!

• Quickbars were invented to access skills pretty fast. Clicking skills with your mouse is not cool, trust me. You can even create up to 3 additional quick backs. They can be used by pressing either CTRL + 1-0 or ALT + 1-0. Get used to them. You will save much time like this => more chances to win in PvP.

#6 Hide helms

• Most helms look ugly, especially the ones at the beginning. They make your character look less customized. You probably spent a lot of time creating your character, so why hide it in some ugly helms?

#7 Sometimes a suicide is the only way out

• Fighting a strong enemy in the Abbys, no hope winning? Afraid of losing your AP? Jump off a cliff! Like this you won’t lose any AP, EXP and the recovery will only cost you 1 Kinah.
• Note: This will only work after you were hit by a player from the opposite faction.

#8 Block nyerks

• Is someone nyerking you off? Spammers, Kinah sellers, trolls? Block them by right clicking on their name. Don’t let them ruin your game experience.

#9 Linking is sexy!

• You can link quests and items into the chat box. Other players will be able to click and see the details about it. A must do for everyone who’s trying to sell something!

#10 Always carry enough Resurrection Stones with you

• Resurrection stones are being used to revive dead people. In the beginning it often happened that none of my group members had such stones = You have to respawn and run back to the location you died. These stones are pretty cheap, make sure you always have some. Time = Kinah.
