Today I noticed that I have 8 Google Wave beta keys available, ehm .. not keys but invitations. Actually nominations. So if I nominate you, invitations won’t be sent immediately, but after maybe few days or even hours!

What is Google Wave?

Google Wave feels for me like a Twitter 2.0 or Twitter 10 years in the future and web 2.5. You can create waves. Waves can be compared a bit to group chats in instant messages, but offers much more features and freedom.

Once you create a wave, other people can be added to this conversation. Also waves can be made public, so EVERYONE who uses wave can write there, edit content(like in wikipedia)

Features

Extensions

Into every single wave, extensions can be added. Extensions are things like polls, google map and many other things like a Twitter, Facebook gadget, so you can have all your favourite services in one tab.

Gadgets are being or will be mostly being developed by its users, so the list of gadgets can become incredibly huge.

Real-time writing

This one is one damn cool feature. You can see whenever someone is typing and all this in real time. For moar check out this video.

Share files by drag and drop

Wanna share files, pictures or whatever with your friends or the whole world? All you have to do it simply to drag and drop a file into a wave. No longer 3rd party websites are required to share your stuff. You can do all this with one, Google Wave.

Wiki principle

If you’ve watched the video I posted above, you sure have noticed that waves can be edited by everyone who has been invited into a wave.

Imagine: You’re a leader of a newly created guild. Rules are still missing and someone must write them. Why someone if ALL can do it in the same time and save time like this.

Today I got 3 new keys for the Heroes of Newerth closed beta. I personally am not playing it myself, not really up into such games. I’m gonna give them away to my ~~loyal zombie~~ beloved readers. Aion Halloween Story Writing

You may know the forum off-topic games where you have to continue writing a story in each post. Sigi, the owner of AionGuideZ is currently hosting such a event on his website. A giveaway is included of course. :)

What can we win?

The story so far

It was a cloudy and cold evening, as Eechi, the small Asmodian female Spiritmaster sneakes through her village towards the old bar at the center.

She looks back behind her and notices a tall male figure following her.

She walks faster and reaches the bar in a few minutes without any problems. At the Bar, there were many men sitting at the tables with their drinks and none of them look very trustable. At one end of the room, Eechni notices a small man sitting there alone at the table… “this must be the one I’m looking for” does she think be herself and moves forward towards him…

Suddenly 2 scary and drunk Asmodians stopped Eechi and started bullying her.

On Thursday I started the game time giveaway for Aion. It included 2x 30 day game time serial keys. One for EU and another for NA. It has now ended and the winners are:
