#Bluesky custom feeds are pretty amazing.
Would this sorta thing be possible on #Mastodon?
I'm thinking about a bot that would filter and boost posts depending on the the algorithm.
Is someone already working on this?

@jasdemi I'd love to see a standalone activitypub client that can do that kind of consolidation feed against masto, peertube and the other backends.
@jasdemi yeah you can get something at least similar with a bot, existing things that are a bit like that are @icymi_law and the @newsmast feeds for example.

This is working and a good prototype, but it is a personalized algo for myself, I am debating in what's next on 3 options:
1) Make an UI, maybe even a web page, so people can sign-up and create their own "For You" or "Discovery" curated timeline
2) Add AI/LLM and use vector embeddings or other mechanisms instead of bag of words to improve curation and context 1/2

3) Make a couple of bots with a more generic profile (e.g. US politics, tech programming, etc.) that can curate content and attract more people to the idea.
